About Country Profiles

Information on the law enforcement structures of the 56 participating States and 11 Partners for Co-operation has been collected from official websites of these countries and other sources such as Interpol and Europol. These country profiles are then authorized by the respective governments and published.*

Apart from general information these profiles give some insight into the structure, functions and other aspects of the law enforcement agencies listed as well as a general overview of the criminal justice system.

* As of now, 44 country profiles have been approved by the respective governments.
