The conference is aimed at gathering representatives of investigation, forensic and operational-search police units, faculty members of police training and law institutions, police managers, academics and researchers in this field to discuss and exchange experience on the issues of detection, investigation and prevention of crimes and organization of police investigation and forensic expertise.
The conference will feature two sections:
Working languages of the conference are Russian and English; translation will be provided. Proceedings of the conference will be published and disseminated.
Please note that participants are responsible for their own travel and living expenses. The organizers encourage interested participants to contact the OSCE missions in their countries and/or other donor organizations to seek funding opportunities.
The proposal from interested presenters with the following information (full name, position and institutional affiliation, contact information, including phone, fax, postal and email address, title and abstract of the paper, specified audio-visual equipment request, if any) should be sent to fmeda@mail.ru and asel.stamova@osce.org by May 5, 2008, the latest.
The deadline for submission of final papers is May 15, 2008.
