The purpose of this senior practitioners workshop, jointly organized by OSCE and UNODC, is to facilitate capacity building of the national criminal justice systems, with emphasis on the Central Asian region, to improve national and international legal co-operation and information exchange between the investigative agencies and central authorities from Central Asian region and other concerned countries

The workshop would focus, particularly, on extradition and mutual legal assistance, seizures, freezing and confiscation of asset, and exchange of data from criminal records. The workshops will also provide participants with the opportunity to discuss common problems for their countries in the field of international cooperation and mutual legal assistance, as well as make recommendations for further actions, projects, and interventions necessary at the regional level.

The meetings working language is English with interpretation to and from Russian and Dari/Farsi.
