The aim of the trip,organized by the OSCE Office in Yerevan in collaboration with the Police Service of Northern Ireland and the UK Stabilization Unit, was to familiarize the Armenian Police with the reform process in the Northern Ireland, particularly with the establishment and development of community policing model, educational process as well as public order management.

This project, organized by the OSCE Office in Yerevan in co-operation with the Dutch Police, was a follow-up to the study tour of Armenian Police officers to the Netherlands earlier in 2012 and addressed security problems in schools that include drugs and smoking, road safety, and cases of violence.

This one-day seminar was developed through the support of the RA police headquarters Public Order Management Department with the aim to acknowledge improvements in passive policing and to discuss the management problems with policing of non-passive incidents.

The OSCE Office in Yerevan organized a 2-day practical training course for new members of the Police Patrol Regiment. The course covered various approaches to communication, proportionality in the use of force, negotiation techniques, police accountability, detaining procedures, etc.
