The main goal of this project is to enhance the safety of the students in schools, to decrease the level of violent and antisocial behaviour of the youth through raising awareness for decreasing violence and involvement in building safety for all students, their parents and the school staff.

The OSCE Strategic Police Matters Unit, in cooperation with the German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt), has arranged for 17 police investigators from the Balkan region to participate in a one-week cybercrime forensics course.

Regional workshops on children on the street, as part of project “Tackling issues of discrimination and raising awareness of Roma and other minority groups within the community” implemented by the OSCE Mission to Skopje, aim to improve the coordination between Ministry of Internal Affairs and Labour and Social Policy, implemented during the second half of 2011 and identify joint initiatives and solutions to the issue of children on the street/street children at the local and regional level

This project goal is to contribute to the MoIAs efforts in decreasing the possession of illegal weapons by citizens through increasing the capacity of the MoIA staff regarding the implementation of the new regulation of weapons possession and raising citizens’ awareness about their rights and obligations regarding weapon possession.

The goal of this study trip, organized by the OSCE Mission to Skopje, was familiarize with the Slovenian Police Service’s approach to Community Policing prevention structures at both a practical and theoretical level and exchange experiences and viewpoints on community policing issues and learn about the processes followed by the Slovenian Police in the transition from its previous system to the current one.
