This 2-week course, organized by the Transnational Threats Department and implemented by the Advanced Training Institute of the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation, aimed to deliver advanced knowledge and develop participants' practical and training skills, as well as to enhance their professional capacity in conducting field training in drug-searching operations in living premises, airport terminals, vehicles, and other means of transportation.

The aim of this training course, organized by the Strategic Poilce Matters Unit of the OSCE Secretariat in co-operation with the Turkish International Academy against Drugs and Organized Crime (TADOC), is to prepare law enforcement officers of anti-narcotics units for their role in performing their operational duties and tasks and equip them with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable them to combat against drugs competently, confidently, and ethically.

The course is organized by Kazakhstan’s OSCE Chairmanship together with Strategic Police Matters Unit. It is specifically designed for police officers from Afghanistan who will subsequently train and instruct their peers.
