The training will take place in Budenheim, Germany and has been funded by the United States. The investigators come from: Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro. The course is entitled, "Advanced Windows Forensics" and is certified by both the BKA and the International Association of Cybercrime Investigation Specialist (IACIS). The course runs from October 10 to October 14, 2011
This training is a follow up to a three-week, foundation level course, that was provided by the OSCE last November in Belgrade, Serbia, which involved the same group of students.
While the students are engaged in the BKA training, they are also taking a six-week online-course offered by Europol, "Using Linux as an Investigative Tool".
