Summary

The course was developed for operational staff members in the anti-human trafficking and cybercrime departments of the Ministry the Internal Affairs. The course will also be useful to other professionals in criminal justice, in particular investigators, prosecutors and judges.

The focus of the course is on raising the level of general understanding about the connections between human trafficking, information technology and cybercrime, to enhance co-operation in detecting, preventing and investigating such crimes. 

The course is divided into seven modules, which examine individual aspects of the application of certain technologies in the course of criminal activity, as well as ways of documenting unlawful actions and establishing the identity of the offender.
