The Police Development Department of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje, has donated ten scooters to the Ministry of Interior and has organized a training program to improve Community Policing skills of police officers, who will use the police scooters in the field.
This training will enable participants to:
- Understand country’s Community Based Policing concept and know how to apply it in relation to their duties.
- Know the benefits and limitations of using police scooters for Community Policing activities.
- Understand and know how to use in practice social and communication skills, especially approachable and answerable behavior.
- Know how to implement community based policing skills in “real life” practice.
