Summary

The aim of the country visits to Armenia is to engage with the leadership of national border security and management agencies to promote gender mainstreaming practices and gender equality in border agencies. In addition, TNTD/BMSU promoted and shared the OSCE Online Training on Gender Mainstreaming in Border Security and Management, which is accessible online for public use. The online training targets a diversified audience, to include border guards and customs officers, human resources personnel, leadership, as well as trainers/instructors engaged in gender mainstreaming in the security sector. During the visit, BSMU met with the leadership of  Border Guards Troops under the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Training Centre under the Border Guards Troops, Customs Service.
