Curriculum Design training

Description

The ‘Curriculum Design’ training is one week long training course developed by the Police Development Department, Education Support Division of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje. The training has 9 modules.

Summary

The intended purpose of this course is to enhance the capacity of curriculum designers to develop effective curriculum to support responsive training programs within their specific areas of interest and responsibility. It is an introduction to the theoretical, experiential, and critical components of the curriculum design process.

Every professional curriculum developer must put a lot of effort and expertise into the creation of a training course of instruction and to do so a curriculum developer must have a through understanding of instructional design. The course covers the following components of the design development: Analyzing the Training Need, Principles of Adult Learning, Developing learning goals and objectives, Outlining the training content, Developing lesson plan, Training aids and handouts, Testing and Evaluation, and Technical Design.
