The OSCE Mission to Montenegro, the US Embassy and the Judiciary Training Centre, in co-operation with police, prosecution and judiciary experts have developed this guide for public prosecutors, judges and criminal police officers. The guide presents the basics of international and national criminal law framework, accompanied by concrete examples. Its purpose is to serve as a tool in the work of the police, public prosecutors and courts when processing the cybercrime cases.

Summary

This guidebook is a result of the work of the police, prosecution and judicial experts supported by the relevant sectoral ministries. It was developed as a first book in a possible series of professional titles on high-tech and computer crime,  which is, in a tailored and responsive manner, covers the topics of international and domestic criminal law framework and includes examples from the practice of police, public prosecutor's offices and the courts.

The guidebook should serve as an supplementary tool in the work of these bodies when dealing with cases of cybercrime.
