The aim of the workshop was to bring together regional drug fighting experts in order to co-ordinate anti-drug activities and identify the key drug and chemical precursors issues, where OSCE could play an effective role in supporting efforts to combat illicit drug trafficking, as well as to study the possibilities of fostering international and regional counter narcotics cooperation.
The aim of the online forum was to facilitate a professional discussion among police trainers and training managers about the ways to improve the basic police training models (curricula aspects) in the countries of the region.
This workshop aimed at facilitating the exchange of experiences and good practices between police practitioners from different participating States about recent initiatives and experiences of police agencies with respect to improving the relations with Roma, Sinti and Traveller communities and tackling racially motivated crimes against Roma, Sinti and Travellers. The findings of the workshop were incorporated in a new SPMU/ODIHR publication.
This meeting focused on the role of police in preventing and responding to hate crimes, special investigative techniques and approaches as well as inter-agency and international co-operation.
