The Seminar, hosted by the Government of Uzbekistan, is organized by ICAO and supported by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). It will address Machine Readable Travel Documents (MRTD) standards and best practices, assistance and capacity-building needs of States, identification management and related border security issues.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss issues of co-operation in fighting drugs and the exchange of information on drug traffickers and drug supply routes in the region.
