The desired objective of the conference is to encourage efforts and increase awareness and international capacity to uphold the rule of law, while protecting and promoting human rights within a counter-terrorism context, by instituting adequate criminal offences, criminal procedure tools and law enforcement capacities.
This training will focus on humanitarian and development work and operating in hostile environments where the risk of being kidnapped/taken hostage is high.
The conference will focus on the national experiences and international co-operation in countering terrorism, engaging and empowering youth in preventing and countering violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism and rehabilitation, reintegration and the prevention of radicalization that lead to terrorism.
The meeting will focus on taking stock of the past decade of implementing the NFP Network Terms of Reference and to brainstorm on new and innovative ways to further advance the implementation of the OSCE Border Security and Management Concept by OSCE pS.
