The workshop was organized by the Strategic Police Matters Unit of the OSCE Transnational Threats Department and Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy, with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine and INTERPOL.
The OSCE Mobile Training Team deliver an interactive training course on the identification of foreign terrorist fighters at the borders for border officers.
The workshop was organised by the Strategic Police Matters Unit of the OSCE’s Transnational Threats Department (SPMU), in joint co-operation with the Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section of the Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking Branch of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Organization for Migration-the UN Migration Agency (IOM).
The purpose of the seminar was to bring together authorities representing different state bodies to discuss relevant THB issues, as well as the role of international organisations and ways of intervening the THB-related crimes.
The aim of the online forum was to facilitate a professional discussion among police trainers and training managers about the ways to improve the basic police training models (curricula aspects) in the countries of the region.
