The aim of this training is to enhance the skill level of investigators from the countries of South-Eastern Europe (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia), who deal with highly complex computer crimes, as well as computer related crimes with an emphasis on digital forensics.
The workshop aims at strengthening the capacities of regional law enforcement agencies, their forensic units on detection of NPS and countering illicit drugs trafficking and thereby increasing awareness and knowledge on countering the problem of wide diversion of NPS.
The objective of the meeting is to familiarize participants from OSCE participating States (Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine as well as Romania) with national and regional practices in joint operations, information sharing and needs in combating the phenomena of NPS.
The purpose of the round table is to familiarize participants from the selected Eastern European OSCE participating States with national and regional legal implications, practices and needs to combat the threats and diversion of NPS.
The purpose of the seminar, organised by the SPMU in co-operation with UNODC, was to share knowledge, experience and best practices with European jurisdictions on asset forfeitures as a vital part of the war against organized crime and corruption.
