This guidebook is a result of joint work between Ukraine's Interior Ministry officers and media unions’ experts as part of a project implemented by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator. It includes recommendations on their co-operation during mass events, the rules of safe conduct and a detailed overview of the rights and responsibilities of both the police and journalists. It is not available in English.

The purpose of this Convention is to promote cooperation to prevent and combat transnational organized crime more effectively. The Convention represents a major step forward in the fight against transnational organized crime and signifies the recognition by Member States of the seriousness of the problems posed by it, as well as the need to foster and enhance close international cooperation in order to tackle those problems.
This memorandum was signed in the framework of the project "Promoting the improvement of training for law enforcement officers in the Police Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan" on 16 May 2007 and prolonged on 19 May 2009.
