The toolkit is set of tools designed to enable interested parties to conduct comprehensive assessments of criminal justice systems and identify areas of technical assistance. It was developed by the UNODC in close co-operation with the OSCE/SPMU.
This report, produced by the SPMU, provides an overview of the sessions of the Conference that took place in Vienna on 17-18 July 2008 as well as recommendations by the participants. The primary goal of this conference was to identify a potential role for the OSCE in assisting participating States to combating illicit trafficking in drugs and chemical precursors.
The Conference took place in Vienna on 28-29 June 2007 and was designed to facilitate the exchange of information on the production of and trafficking in illicit drugs, to discuss the implementation of relevant OSCE commitments and to consider further measures to enhance international co-operation in fighting the threat of illicit drugs.
