• Information Bulletin on the Drug Situation in the Central Asian Region

  Prepared by the National Information and Analytical Centre on Drug Control and published with the support of the OSCE, this Bulletin contains information covering the current status and development trends in the drug situation in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan for 2017, as well as measures taken in the fight against the international distribution of drugs.   The purpose of this Convention is to promote cooperation to prevent and combat transnational organized crime more effectively. The Convention represents a major step forward in the fight against transnational organized crime and signifies the recognition by Member States of the seriousness of the problems posed by it, as well as the need to foster and enhance close international cooperation in order to tackle those problems.
