The purposes of this Convention are to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings, protect human rights of the victims of the trafficking, design a framework for the protection and assistance of victims and witnesses.
Report presents the results of the research conducted in co-operation with Unicef Netherlands and is supposed to answer the question: "How and where are children exploited in the Netherlands, and how can they be protected from such exploitation?"
This Manual is the result of the third stage of a programme to combat trafficking in children for sexual purposes, devised by the ECPAT Europe Law Enforcement Group - a regional grouping of ECPAT Europe partners, coordinated by ECPAT Netherlands.
The report provides concrete recommendations for the Ministry of Interior, Police Administration, other government institutions, as well as for the international community, which are meant to form the basis for future constructive discussions.
The Manual contains established criteria, used by the Fuenlabrada Police, in detection and/or registration of persons and/or vehicles in public places.
