    This workshop, organised by the Action against Terrorism Unit, Strategic Police Matters Unit of the OSCE Secretariat and the OSCE Center in Bishkek in co-operation with the Kyrgyz Ministry of the Interior. It aims at promoting the development of partnerships between the Police and civil society mainly through the use of community policing tools, to counter violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (VERLT) while protecting and promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms.

    The aim of this training course, organised by the Strategic Poilce Matters Unit of the OSCE Secretariat in co-operation with the Turkish International Academy against Drugs and Organised Crime (TADOC), was to prepare law enforcement officers of anti-narcotics units for their role in performing their operational duties and tasks and equip them with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable them to combat against drugs competently, confidently, and ethically.
