A three-day training course on protecting the rights of alleged victims and accused persons for police investigators from Tashkent and the surrounding area was conducted by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan. The aim of the training is to enhance the investigators’ professional understanding of and commitment to international policing and investigative standards.
This event will bring together anti-terrorism police experts with the aim of exchanging and promoting good practices among police agencies in the fight against terrorism. There will be a special focus on the Mediterranean and South Eastern Europe.
The aim of the Conference was to share the lessons learned, define concrete measures to increase the exchange of operational information and enhance the level of co-operation between the participating countries.
