  • Police education and training systems in the OSCE region

    This research was conducted in order to sustain the police training support aimed at adherence by the police to the rule of law and community safety, to improve the functioning of the police education and training system, and to address the challenges of the police education and training system remodelling as an essential part of the police reform by identifying the most promising national solutions of advanced education/training standards. It is recommended for a broad range of Ukrainian professionals dealing with police education and training (including basic and continuing training).

    The purpose of this lesson is to enable all relevant staff in the police to recognize and respond to indications of vulnerability or intimidation and to provide the participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct an appropriate interview by exploring the alternatives open to such witnesses, victims or suspects.

  • Evaluation report of the Investigative Interviewing course

    This report gives overview of the three subsequent courses of the ‘Investigative Interviewing’ training held in the period of June - July 2007 by the Training Division, Police Development Department, of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje. Analysis of the feedback forms from the participants and evaluation of the overall course are included.

  • Community policing on scooters

    The Police Development Department of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje, has donated ten scooters to the Ministry of Interior and has organized a training program to improve Community Policing skills of police officers, who will use the police scooters in the field.
