The guidebook on “A Whole-of-Society Approach to Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Radicalization That Lead to Terrorism - A Guidebook for Central Asia” is one in a series of technical guidebooks produced by the Transnational Threat Department/ Action against Terrorism Unit and focuses on the challenges in developing and implementing effective programmes to prevent and counter VERLT in Central Asia.

For its 2008 Safer Internet Eurobarometer survey the Commission targeted parents of children between 6 and 17 years old from all 27 EU Member States. The main aim of the survey was to investigate parents'; perceptions and views on their children's use of Internet, as well as on the potential risks they may encounter online.
This report, produced by the SPMU, provided the overview of the topics discussed at the online workshop, that took place on 13-24 October 2008 in POLIS, as well as recommendations by the participants.
