    The goal of this study trip, organised by the OSCE Mission to Skopje, was to familiarize with the Slovenian Police Service’s approach to Community Policing prevention structures at both a practical and theoretical level and exchange experiences and viewpoints on community policing issues and learn about the processes followed by the Slovenian Police in the transition from its previous system to the current one.

    The goal of this project is to support the MoIA in implementing their Community Policing Programme “Building a Partner relation citizen-police” that they have developed in line with the new police reform. It also aims to enhance the mid-level management supervisory staff’s knowledge on conflict prevention and conflict resolution through specific presentations on the subject matter and through increased knowledge of the tool, Inspector of Prevention (IoP) position.

    The overall goal of the project is to instigate the gender issue in the Ministry of Internal Affairs through advocating for increasing the female participation in police work and emphasize importance of focusing on security risks faced by female citizens.

  • OSCE Regional workshop on Enhancement of comprehensive co-operation in combating illicit drugs in South-East European region, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

    The aim of the workshop was to bring together regional drug fighting experts in order to co-ordinate anti-drug activities and identify the key drug and chemical precursors issues, where OSCE could play an effective role in supporting efforts to combat illicit drug trafficking, as well as to study the possibilities of fostering international and regional counter narcotics cooperation.
