• Police education and training systems in the OSCE region

  This research was conducted in order to sustain the police training support aimed at adherence by the police to the rule of law and community safety, to improve the functioning of the police education and training system, and to address the challenges of the police education and training system remodelling as an essential part of the police reform by identifying the most promising national solutions of advanced education/training standards. It is recommended for a broad range of Ukrainian professionals dealing with police education and training (including basic and continuing training).

• Kyrgyz police officer pocket handbook

  The pocket handbook was developed in 2010 by the OSCE Police Reform Programme for Kyrgyzstan for uniformed police for the first time in Kyrgyz and Russian languages to promote the culture of the rule of law among the Kyrgyz police.

• Guidelines for operational police involved in community policing

  These guidelines, developed by the Armenian Police in co-operation with the OSCE Office in Yerevan, define the general context and legislative framework, general principles, styles of policing, and also cover the issues of communication and behavior, problem solving and providing police response.

• Report on results of focus group research regarding public security concerns and experiences with local law enforcement in the Republic of Tajikistan

  This report was produced by the Counter Terrorism and Police Unit of the OSCE Office in Tajikistan and reflects the results of the focus groups research organised with the aim to understand the role of the police and the perception of the police within the community.

• "What is Community Policing?" brochure

  This brochure aims at disseminating basic information about community policing among the wider public. It provides brief definition of community policing, practical approaches and examples for police-community partnership.
