The Annual Report of the Secretary General on Police-Related Activities provides a comprehensive overview of all police-related projects, events and programmes implemented by the OSCE executive structures, including by thematic units in the Secretariat, field operations (FOs) and institutions.
The Council adopted a directive aimed at combating sexual abuse and the exploitation of children as well as child pornography. The directive harmonises about 20 criminal offences, setting a high level of penalties.

For its 2008 Safer Internet Eurobarometer survey the Commission targeted parents of children between 6 and 17 years old from all 27 EU Member States. The main aim of the survey was to investigate parents'; perceptions and views on their children's use of Internet, as well as on the potential risks they may encounter online.
