A training course on “Combating Internet and Social Media used by Terrorist Organizations” organized by the Mission to Skopje and delivered by an independent consultant from Turkey
The OSCE Guidebook on “The Role of Civil Society in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Radicalization that Lead to Terrorism: A focus on South-Eastern Europe” is the first in a series of resources produced by the Transnational Threat Department/ Action against Terrorism Unit. This volume provides practical guidance and helpful background for both policy makers and practitioners who are working to advance civil-society-led P/CVERLT initiatives in the South-Eastern European region.
This strategy, which is consistent with USAID’s policy, provides a more explicit guide for how State and USAID will work jointly and will leverage the range of available diplomatic and development resources to have a demonstrable impact to prevent and counter the spread of violent extremism.
The Mission, in close co-operation with the Hungarian Embassy in Skopje and the Hungarian Law Enforcement School, organized a training course for representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
