The OSCE Office in Baku is organising a National Expert Conference "Tackling Cybercrime - A Key Challenge to Comprehensive Cybersecurity" which will bring together representatives of all relevant state agencies of Azerbaijan, international experts, representatives of international organizations and Embassies and internet providers operating in Azerbaijan.
The conference will discuss the legal frameworks to prosecute cybercrime cases, refer to international conventions, standards and best practices on criminal and procedural laws as well as relevant human rights considerations.
In addition, the latest methodologies and technical means used for investigating and prosecuting cybercrime cases will be on the agenda and importance will be given to issues related to public-private partnerships.
The conference will also provide the opportunity to discuss the challenges of international co-operation in cybercrime investigations, such as in the area of internet fraud and countering sexual abuse of children on the internet.
