A workshop on the use of psychoactive substances in Tashkent and Samarkand was organised by the PCU for 18 representatives of the Drug Abuse Prevention Centre, including medical staff and social workers, in Tashkent on 17 and 18 May. The workshop aimed at increasing participants’ knowledge on how to improve statistical reporting. Additional discussions included the use of new psychoactive substances in Tashkent and cases of consumption of new psychoactive substances in the Samarkand province. The workshop was implemented within the framework of the PCUz project ‘Assistance to the Fight against Illicit Drug Circulation and Expansion’.
