Materials from a roundtable discussion in Skopje to foster and encourage better inter-institutional co-operation between municipalities and police, with the overall aim to further enhance the safety of citizens in Skopje.
Materials include:
- A guidebook and presentation on Local Prevention Councils in three languages. A Local Prevention Council has been identified as the most suitable method of confidence-building and improving partnerships, following the events of 2001 that led to the Ohrid agreement. This Council is a tool for enhancing partnerships, solving local problems and providing services to citizens that serve common interests.
- Investigation Check List, a tool developed by the Mission in co-operation with MoIA to provide additional assistance and support to police during the investigation and prosecution of hate crimes.
