Lesson #10: Child CPR skills

The child CPR skills workshop serves two purposes. First and most important, the student should use them to prepare and reinforce essential skills. Second, they are used to evaluate students for satisfactory course completion.

To allow students opportunity to observe, practice, and perform Child CPR skills associated with basic life support.

Student will prepare for the Practical Exam by practicing the following procedures:

1. Demonstrate how to position a Child for CPR
2. Demonstrate how to perform ABC’s on a Child.
3. Demonstrate One-Rescuer Child CPR
4. Demonstrate the Recovery Position for a Child.
