Summary

The goal of this lesson is to provide Police Inspectorate staff with an introduction to the law that relates to crime scene reconstruction, identification of persons and measures to locate persons wanted in connection with a criminal investigation.

At the end of this lesson Inspectorate staff will be able to:

  1. List the provisions that relate to the conduct of a site inspection or reconstruction
  2. Identify the provisions that relate to the identification of persons or objects
  3. Describe the lawful measures available to locate wanted persons
  4. Demonstrate the ability to recall the more important points of knowledge from the lesson
