Summary

The goal of this lesson is to provide the participants with an overview of the Roles and Responsibilities of a Trainer, together with information regarding the motivation of learners, and what makes up the Learning Environment.

At the conclusion of this lesson, participants will be able to:

  1. Define what is expected of a trainer
  2. Define the purpose of Practical Training in the Anti-Trafficking of Human Beings
  3. Interpret the Batari’s Box model of Attitude and Behaviour
  4. List some of the qualities that make a good trainer
  5. Interpret and define motivation
  6. Define the term “Safe Learning Environment”
  7. Give examples of the conditions that need to exist in a safe learning environment
  8. List four (4) styles of training.
