Lesson #4: Adult CPR Skills

The adult CPR skills workshop serves two purposes. First and most important, the student should use them to prepare and reinforce essential skills. Second, they are used to evaluate students for satisfactory course completion.

To allow students opportunity to observe, practice, and perform Adult CPR skills associated with basic life support

At the end of the lesson plan, the students will be able to :

1. Perform Scene Safety and Survey in less than one (1) minute.
2. Demonstrate using Universal Precautions.
3. Demonstrate checking for Responsiveness.
4. Demonstrate One-Rescuer Adult CPR
5. Demonstrate the Recovery Position on an Adult Patient.
