Summary

The goal of this lesson is to provide participants with a knowledge and understanding of the national and international legislation and conventions and instruments on human rights as related to human trafficking.

At the conclusion of this lesson, participants will be able to:

  1. State the four (4) recommended international Human Rights principles in relation to trafficking in human beings
  2. List at least three (3) considerations of the police regarding protection for victims
  3. State 3 (three) of the national and international instruments to protect individuals from private human rights violations
