Material for 2-hour lesson, part of the the Train-the-Trainers Community Policing Training Course, developed by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo
The purpose of these lessons is to provide an insight and understanding to the steps needed to implement community policing in Kosovo, in line with the New CPS&AP 2012-2016.
After this block of instruction the participants will be able to:
- Understand and define policing principles and values in relation to community policing and compare variations between policing and community policing values, as taught in the classroom.
- List/identify what is meant by and involved in community policing, as taught in the classroom.
- Define what is meant by strategic objectives, in relation to community policing, as explained in the classroom.
- Identify the steps involved in a community policing programme, as taught in the classroom.
