Description

Material for a 4-hour lesson, part of the Border Police Course, developed by the Kosovo Police Service School.

Summary

As Border or Boundary Police Officers you must be able to recognise the various documents that you will come across whilst carrying out your duties. This lesson will give you an understanding of how to recognise the security features contained in these documents and how to detect forged or manipulated documents. One of your main roles on the Borders and Boundary lines is to prevent illegal migration, human trafficking, prostitution, transference of drugs and weapons etc. Often criminals will use faked passports or travel documents in order to conceal their true identity and it is important that you are able to detect this.
