Summary

Police dogs are a valuable asset in situations that arise in correctional facilitates. They provide a positive, flexible and professional response to a wide variety of situations. They may, by their mere presence, add a margin of safety to a dangerous job.

Upon completion of this training, the student will be better able to operate in safety as part of a tactical police service dog team, inside corrections facilities.

At the end of this lesson the students will be able to:

  1. Understand how police service dogs are used in correctional facilities.
