Material for a 3-hour lesson, part of the 20-week Basic Training Course, developed by the Kosovo Police Service School.
The first lesson (29A) provided students with information on robbery, theft with force and aggravated theft. This second lesson, in addition to Lesson 29A, will cover many aspects of theft investigation, including theft crimes relating to auto theft, robbery, theft with force, and aggravated theft. This lesson will provide general information on theft investigation and then look more specifically at auto theft and the investigative procedure. Both lessons are supplemented by scenarios and discussions to allow students ample opportunity to determine what types of theft offences have been committed and to determine the appropriate procedure for investigating them.
The goal of this lesson is to provide the students with a review of the theft offence definitions, with an in-depth overview of auto theft, and the proper procedure for investigating these types of crime.
