Summary

The members in organisations are working in and in co-operation with different kind of groups and with different kind of purpose. From a managers perspective it is important with knowledge about groups, how they works, which kind of support they need to get an effective result from the work in organisations.

A working life organised in-groups or projects need a new kind of leadership, as not takes decisions, but will act so decisions will be taken. Leader need to train how to handle all delicate situations as shows up as a natural part of the group dynamic, and which are a part of the groups development. The role of the leader is to get people grow, not to position him!

The purpose of the lesson is to:

  • examine the structure of people in the organisation
  • identify groups in organisations related to the mid-level management
  • manage the effective use of human resources in organisations.
