Summary

On 23 May in Sarajevo, the Mission organized a seminar for 30 members of the BiH Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence on prevention and countering violent extremism and radicalization leading to terrorism (P/CVERLT)

During the training, participants could build their knowledge and discuss issues with experts such as: the role of faith, religion and ideology in P/CVERLT; psychological aspects of radicalization into violence; incidents and hate crimes committed in BiH; to the role of the defence sector in P/CVERLT.

The seminar was organized at the request of the BiH Ministry of Defence (MoD), as part of the Mission’s Co-operation Plan with the MoD for 2018.
