Summary

On 18-19 April, the Mission, in co-operation with the RS Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centre (RS JPTC), organized a training called on Enhancing co-operation and exchange of experiences in Domestic Violence Cases.

Judges, prosecutors and police officers exchanged experiences and discussed the role of competent institutions as well as the importance of a victim-centred approach and institutional coordination for effective investigation and prosecution, with the ultimate goal of improving the implementation of the Criminal Law and the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence in RS. The RS Gender Centre also attended the training and expressed interest in continuing with these Mission activities in co-operation with the RS JPTC.
