On 25 to 26 April, in co-operation with the National Office for Combatting Trafficking and border police, the Mission completed the first phase of FRONTEX-certified training for front line border police in Berane and Plav, respectively. The aim of the training was to strengthen the capacity of border police in preventing and combating trafficking in human beings and in providing care for victims by respecting their dignity and fundamental rights. It also served to further strengthen the identification of potential victims among those at risk and vulnerable people, especially women, unaccompanied minors, and asylum seekers.
