Summary

Mention Estonia, Georgia, the Sony pictures entertainment hacks, Stuxnet - and even less IT savvy will think of ICTs and their use by States. Having said that statistics are painting a very confusing picture ranging from 20% of global cyber-attacks being attributed to "cyber warfare" or "cyber espionage" to a mere 5% - What are the facts, what is fiction, what is possible and how bad will it get?

The OSCE Chairmanship Cyber Showcase Event on 4 November is intended to provide a platform to those who should know - white-hat hackers, security software developers and those spending their entire professional life tracking cyber-attacks both, from the government and non-government side.
