Summary

On 15 September, the Mission supported the staff of the Community Safety Coordination Office in organizing a one-day workshop to review the progress of the implemented community safety activities co-ordinated through this Office. The staff of the Office informed the participants about all activities implemented during the reporting period and challenges they face towards becoming more functional and a credible entity. The workshop was attended by 12 participants and included officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kosovo Police Directorate for Community Policing and Crime Prevention, as well as the representatives of the Mission and International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP). In addition, the workshop also aimed at ensuring that the Office, its supervising institutions, and supporting partners have the same clear picture on the remaining activities for this year and co-ordinate them in an efficient manner.
