On 10 and 11 October in Jahorina, the Mission supported the organization of a workshop on the implementation of Chapter 4.1.2 of the Action Plan accompanying the BiH Integrated Border Management Strategy. The Chapter pertains to the amendment of the Agreement on the Establishment of the Joint Risk Analysis Centre (JRAC) of the BiH Border Police. The BiH Ministry of Security, Indirect Taxation Authority, Border Police, Service for Foreigners' Affairs, Plant Health Agency and Veterinary Office all delegated representatives to the JRAC. The OSCE’s Comprehensive Border Management concept is based on a whole of government approach and requires inter-agency co-operation within a highly complex and interconnected environment. Such an approach is necessary to achieve a safe and secure environment for the citizens of BiH and to enable the country to meet its international obligations.
