Summary

On 14 November, the Mission organized a conference to promote the Regional Serious and Organized Crime Threat Assessment (SOCTA),18 which was developed jointly by the Interior Ministries of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. The Head of the Mission opened the event alongside the Ministers of Interior of the three countries, the Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje. The event featured a strategic overview of the threats and risks caused by drug trafficking, irregular migration and human trafficking, cybercrime and other forms of organized and serious crime. The conference brought together some 100 participants, including representatives from the Interior Ministries of the three countries, civil society organizations (CSOs), and international organizations.
