Summary

The PCU’s support to police reform in Ukraine is focused on developing skills and knowledge for large-scale public security police units, such as patrol and neighbourhood police, and highly specialized police units responsible for addressing challenges of cybercrime and human trafficking. During the reporting period, the PCU continued supporting the re-trainings for the reformed neighbourhood police. By the end of the year, about re-attested 3,400 neighbourhood police officers had undergone a 98-hour training in 14 regions. The remaining 11 regions will be covered in 2017.
